Advanced Diploma of Disability

We are currently bringing this qualification onto our scope of registration and anticipate delivery will commence in 2010.  

Advanced Diploma of Disability provides qualifications for people wishing to work in management type roles within the disability sector.  

Advanced Diploma of Disability is recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a Nationally Recognised Qualification.

Pre-requisites:

To be eligible to enrol in this course you need:

  • To be mature aged
  • To be currently employed in the disability sector
  • Access to management-type roles to complete assessment tasks
  • To have experience working in a role which enables you to exercise independent judgment and decision-making, and a range of technical and other skills
  • A current Working with Children Check and a current National Police Record Check
  • Moderate computer skills and internet access

  • CHCORG611A- Lead and develop others in a community sector workplace

Training / Career pathways:

You may wish to diversify your qualifications within the community services industry to broaden your career opportunities. A number of the units from the Advanced Diploma of Disability can be credited across to the Diploma of Community Services Co-ordination.
